Join Motive Yoga Senior Teachers, Jay Neal and Stacey Williams in a 6 week introductory series on meditation. All are welcome with or without experience.
Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses a technique- such as mindfulness or focusing on a particular object, thought or activity- to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally
calm and stable state. We will touch on the proven science of meditation and utilize yogic spiritual texts and techniques to guide you inward.
Yoga ultimately is MEDITATION!! We turn inward with the body in asana, we direct our breath inward in pranayama, and we eventually reach deep into the heart-mind through meditation where we ultimately discover who we are.
We will address the proven science of meditation and we will rely on the testimony and experience of thousands of years of yogis practicing and sharing the wisdom gleaned from a steady practice of meditation.
