Martial Movement is a FREE workshop offered by Leaf Seaburg, a dedicated yogi and martial artist. Leaf’s training includes 1st Technician (black belt) in Wing Tsung (Wing Chun) as well as over 15 years of general martial arts study and five years of teaching.
This workshop will focus on the martial roots of a vinyasa yoga practice, the exchange of culture between martial artists and yogis, as well as the essential mechanics and fundamentals of the shared aspects of these two disciplines.
During this 90 minute workshop you will stop periodically to explore the mechanics of yoga poses from a martial arts perspective.
No martial arts experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothing and come willing and curious.
